Privacy Policy

Alex’s Pressure Washing & Cleaning Services LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is an owner-operated exterior cleaning business based in Merchantville, NJ. This policy explains what information we collect through our website at alexspwcs.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. Short version: we collect what we need to give you an estimate and run the business, we don’t sell your information, and you can ask us to delete it any time.

When you request an estimate through our contact form or a form on one of our service or town pages, we collect what you type in: your name, phone number, email address, property address, the service you’re interested in, and any message you include. We use it to respond to your request, prepare your quote, and schedule the work.

When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address so we can send you seasonal tips and occasional updates. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes one click.

If you call, text, or email us directly, we keep those messages the same way any small business keeps its correspondence: so we can follow up and keep track of your job.

We do not collect payment information through the Site. Any payment details are handled off-site when we invoice you for completed work.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site: which pages you view, how you got here, how long you stay, your device and browser type, and your approximate location based on your IP address. This data is aggregated and doesn’t identify you by name. It helps us figure out which pages are useful and which need work.

Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to do this. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. The Site works fine without them.

We advertise on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). If you arrive at the Site from one of our ads, our ad tools, which may include the Meta Pixel, can collect information about your visit, such as the pages you view and the actions you take (like submitting an estimate request). We use this to measure whether our ads work and to show ads to people more likely to need our services.

Meta processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can control the ads you see in your Facebook ad preferences, and you can opt out of interest-based advertising generally at aboutads.info.

That’s the whole list. We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with data brokers.

We share information only with the service providers that keep the Site and the business running:

• Resend delivers our form notifications, confirmation emails, and newsletter.
• Vercel hosts the Site and processes standard server logs (like IP addresses) to keep it online and secure.
• Google provides our analytics, as described above.
• Meta provides our advertising tools, as described above.

Each of these providers processes data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. Beyond that, we would only disclose information if required by law (for example, a subpoena or court order) or if the business were ever sold or merged, in which case this policy would still apply to your data.

Estimate requests and job correspondence are kept as long as we need them for business records, warranty questions, and tax purposes. Newsletter emails stay on the list until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained per Google’s standard retention settings. If you want something deleted sooner, just ask.

The Site is served over HTTPS, so everything you submit is encrypted in transit. Form submissions go straight to our email through Resend rather than being stored in a database on the Site. We use reputable providers with strong security track records, though no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email alex@alexspwcs.com or call (267) 235-1885 and we’ll take care of it. No forms, no runaround, no waiting period beyond what it takes us to do it.

Depending on where you live, including under New Jersey’s Data Privacy Act, you may have specific legal rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising. We honor those requests for everyone, resident or not. If you believe we haven’t resolved a concern, you may also contact your state’s attorney general.

The Site is for homeowners and property managers. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information through the Site, contact us and we’ll delete it.

The Site links out to our profiles on Google, Facebook, and Instagram. Those platforms have their own privacy policies, and what you do there is governed by them, not by this policy.

If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be noted clearly. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
